Policy Reality Check: Safety, Speech, and the “We Tried” Button

So - hope, hype, or half-measure? Honestly, all three, depending on execution. Anonymous age checks can be a real improvement over ID uploads and face-scan warehouses, but only if we do the unsexy work: clean implementations, short logs, boring metadata, equity paths, and audits that don’t read like ads. Get lazy, and you’ve just attached a halo to a tracking system with better PR.
